Students Home Scheme is started by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh for Scheduled Tribe students in Madhya Pradesh. The main purpose of the scheme is to provide hostel facilities for those students who are unable to get admission in hostels due to lack of seats. The students who are coming from remote areas have an immediate need for accommodation. Students Home Scheme is operated to fulfill the requirements of such type of students. Under this scheme, a well-equipped house near to educational institute provided on rent by the Departmental Officer and the department will only be liable to pay the house rent, electricity and water tax and scholarship at Post-Metric rates. Arrangements for utensils, essential equipment, furniture, ration, water, cleanliness, newspaper, sweeper etc. will be made personally by students at their own expenses. In this scheme, those students who have got admission in 11th class or above in any recognized government or non-government educational institution can get benefits of Students Home Scheme. The aim of the scheme is to provide accommodation and other facilities like reimbursement of electricity, water expenses, and scholarships to scheduled tribe category students of Madhya Pradesh who are studying in higher education institutions

Eligibility for Students Home Scheme:
- Applicant should be resident of Madhya Pradesh state
- Applicant should belong to scheduled tribe
Documents for Students Home Scheme:
- Aadhaar card
- Caste certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Education certificate
- Passport size photos
How to apply for Students Home Scheme:
- Applicant should submit written application to the Assistant Commissioner of tribal department
- Approval for Students-Homes will be given only if at least five students (No maximum limit) ready to stay in Students Home
- Applicant should contact Collector, Assistant Commissioner, District Organizer and Principal of the Institute in Madhya Pradesh state
