This is one of the largest public health education initiatives, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr Chandrababu Naidu (Government of Andhra Pradesh) has launched Swasthya Vidya Vahini scheme for school going children’s in Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme, the state government distributes nutritious food for the school going students and more than 222 locations cover under this scheme.Apart from healthy food the scheme also aims to inculcate healthy habits in the children.
Andhra Pradesh government has the aim to provide nutritious food and teach students about the good habits. In this scheme, near about 45,000 medical students from MBBS, postgraduate medical courses and the nursing stream will participate in the programme to generate awareness among school student. The participated candidate will visit villages to create awareness among the kids and elders about individual cleanliness and keep the surroundings clean. This scheme helps many individuals in the state in keeping the state healthy and tidy. Children need to understand that cleanliness is not a work which we should do forcefully, It is a good habit and healthy way of life. All type of cleanliness is very necessary for our good health whether it is personal cleanliness, surrounding cleanliness, environmental cleanliness, or workplace cleanliness or school, college, office, etc cleanliness. Regarding this, state government of Andhra Pradesh took very good initiative for school student and taking the initiative like Swasthya Vidya Vahini
