Teelu Rauteli Special Pension Scheme is started by Social Welfare Department (Government of Uttarakhand) for physically handicapped Women Farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs. 800 per month for disabled women who are engaged in agriculture work or agriculture-related business in the state. This scheme is effective from the 1st April 2014 and implemented by the social welfare department in Uttarakhand. The name of the scheme Teelu Rauteli was a female warrior and folk hero who lived in Gurad Village (Pargana Chaundkot) Garhwal, Uttrakhand. During the 17th century, she fought in seven wars between the ages of fifteen and twenty. For getting benefits under this scheme applicant candidate needs to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below in articles like income limit and other things mentioned below. Uttarakhand government has taken very good intuitive by providing special pension to the women farmers who are physically handicapped while collecting fodder or mate with an accident during agriculture-related work

Eligibility for Teelu Rauteli Special Pension Scheme:

1. Applicant should be resident of Uttarakhand state
2. The disabled rural women farmer whose disability percentage is between 20% to 40% are eligible for this scheme
3. Applicant age should be between 18 to 60 years for getting benefits under Teelu Rauteli Special Pension Scheme
4. Once women attend the age of 60 years then she will be eligible for old age pension scheme

1. Aadhaar card
2. Age proof
3. Disabled certificate issued from Medical Board should be between 20% to 40%
4. Bank account details
5. Passport size photos

Application Procedure:

1. Applicant should visit Social Welfare Department in concerned District/Taluka
2. Applicant also visit Agriculture Officer or Gram Panchayat
