The Finance Minister of India today presented the Union Budget for the financial year 2017-2018. He presented the financial state of the country and provided the details of the impact of the demonetization. He also introduced a number of welfare schemes and increased budgets for the number of initiatives such as rural housing, defence, digitization and jobs etc.
Here is the list of items which will be costlier after the budget 2017:

- Vegetable tanning extracts used in making leather products
- POS machines card and fingerprint readers
- Railway tickets bookings online
- Solar tempered glass used in solar panels
- LNG
- RO membrane elements for household usage
- Wind operated energy generator
- Fuel cell based power generating systems
