गुजरात में विद्या लक्ष्मी योजना (हिंदी में)
Vidya Laxmi Yojana launched by Ministry of Education, Government of Gujarat. A scheme provides a bond of Rs. 2000 to girl child of village area while getting admission in 1st class. A scheme aims women’s participation in education. A common scenario has been observed in many villages of Gujarat, decreasing literacy rate among women. To fulfill such need and to increase women literacy rate Gujarat government started an initiative which is helping many poor girls across villages of Gujarat. Under this scheme Narmada Nidhi’s bond of Rupee Rs. 2000 provided to the girls belonging to the families under the poverty line at the time of taking admission in the standard 1st in the Rural Area and a Bond amount paid with interest to the girls after completion of standard 8th. The scheme covered those villages in which the literate rate of Female is less than 35%. All girls are eligible under this scheme. Application form can be obtained at the nearest department of education. Beneficiary wishes to get benefits must apply at same office with documents.

- The scheme covered those villages in which the literate rate of Female is less than 35%

- Residence proof: Domicile certificate, Electricity bill
- Identity proof: Aadhar card
- Birth certificate
- BPL Ration card
- Bank details
- Parents leaving certificate or caste certificate
- Passport size photograph

- Collect application form by visiting Nearest Department of Education
- Must apply at same office with documents mentioned above
