The government of Maharashtra has extended last date for application of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Shetkari Sanman Yojana (Karj Mafi Yojna). 15th Sept 2017 was the earlier last date of application which is now extended by 7 more days to 22nd Sept 2017. So far 96 lakh (approx.) farmers has applied for the scheme and still a majority 44 lakh farmers are yet to apply. Due to no electricity for 15-18 hours, server failures, application issues, limited application centers farmers could not apply online inspite of waiting for 4 days. Long queues are seen at the all the application center across Maharashtra.
The extension will provide some relief to the farmers of the states and government is planning to provide the loan waiver by Diwali. All the farmers of the state who are yet to apply for the scheme are requested to apply within a day or two.
