To enable urban migrants, urban poor, students to get rental homes at cheaper rates causing no financial burden

Uttar Pradesh state cabinet headed by CM Yogi Adityanath, approved a new proposal for Affordable Rental Housing and Complexes (ARHC) scheme on March 26, 2021, for students, migrant workers, urban poor across the state. Under this scheme affordable rental accommodation will be provided to the beneficiaries. This scheme will be implemented under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). It tends to promote construction of rental housing spaces for urban poor and migrants. This scheme will mainly cover the urban migrants, urban poor, people belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC, widows, working women, divyang and other minorities
