On December 14, 2020, CMO Tamil Nadu Mr. Edapaddi Palaniswami launched ‘Amma Mini Clinics’ in the state. Under this initiative, mini clinics will be set up in the state for providing free basic medical treatment and check-up facility in the state mainly regarding the symptoms of COVID-19. These mini clinics will have a doctor, nurse and a medical assistant. All the small prodromes like headache, fever, body ache, etc in context o COVID-19 will be addressed in the clinic. This initiative is mainly for the areas where people are not available to avail basic health facilities. It will thereby help to maintain safe and good health for everyone across the state.
