Anundo Ram Borooah Award Free Laptop Scheme in Assam

The Anundo Ram Borooah Award Free Laptop Scheme introduced by Assam State Government, Ministry of Planning and Development. The main objective behind introducing this scheme is to encourage students to be a part of I.T sector and adopt the technology. Under this scheme, Assam government is providing free laptops to the students who have secured 1^st in HSLC examination are who are meritorious. That’s why the government intends to support them through any medium for making them more capable in technology.  The scheme is specially designed for meritorious students of Assam. To qualify under this scheme candidate need to qualify some eligibility norms and conditions which are mentioned in below article in detail. • Anundo Ram Borooah Award Free Laptop Scheme provides benefits by providing free laptop set to meritorious students
• Under this scheme Planning and Development Department is providing free laptop set to the meritorious students or those students who have secured 1^st class in HSLC examination in Assam

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Anundo Ram Borooah Award Free Laptop Scheme:

1. Students who are permanent residents of Assam state are eligible
2. Students who have scored 1^st class in HSLC exam are eligible

Document required for applying Anundo Ram Borooah Award Free Laptop Scheme:

1. Aadhar card
2. Residence proof e.g. certificate from residence authority
3. HSLC certificate or Marksheet showing 1^st division
4. Parents identity card
5. College bonafide may be required

Application procedure:

1. No application procedure is specified by officials but. Only those students are eligible who have secured 1^st division in HSLC examination and the nodal agency for implementation of this scheme is Planning and Development Department of district so candidate would get everything about application procedure by visiting that office itself
