Atal Innovation Mission by NITI Ayog has announced competition for startups and individuals for developing new India called as Atal New India Challenge (ANIC). AIM is the initiative under National Institution For Transforming India (NITI) Aayog, Government of India. The objective of this challenge is to identify and support innovators for creating products / solutions based on advanced technologies. The competition also provides a stage for the innovators and startups to showcase their products and tools. The competition focuses on the areas of national importance and social relevance. The government will financially help these innovators through a grant-based mechanism.

STEP 3: Provide their general details
STEP 4: Select the type of entity Individual or Independent Researcher/ Corporate Entity (Startup / MSME)/ Research Center(University Research Center. Independent Research Center)
STEP 5: Provide mailing address and pin code along with state, district and upload the latest resume
STEP 6: Select their focus areas in which his technology/ research/ prototype applicable
STEP 7: Provide technology details along with patent filed or approved for the technology trying to commercialize
STEP 8: Provide details on prototype if it is ready for demonstration
STEP 9: Provide details of the research paper published in a journal for innovation if applicable
STEP 10: Provide manufacturing plan details
STEP 11: Provide details of the commercialization plan
STEP 12: Provide details of the early market plan
STEP 13: Provide details of the time commitment of the key members of the applicant teams for the proposed project
STEP 14: Select the which type of financial areas required for the commercialization to apply
STEP 15: Provides details of milestones, quality and times along with the parameters
STEP 16: Provide the video prototype link if available
STEP 17: Upload his business plan details
STEP 18: Upload self-certification which has yet not received any grant from any ministry or department of GOI, or any state government
STEP 19: Click on the Submit button to complete application
