Bhagyashree Scheme for Female Child / बाल महिला के लिए भाग्यश्री योजना

The Bhagyashree Scheme is started by Maharashtra government for BPL family’s female child. Under this scheme, female children can get insurance of Rs -1 lakh which will be awarded after completion of 18 years of age of the girl. In this scheme as soon as girl child take birth the government deposits Rs. 21200 to the account of the girl child, which would grow out to become Rs 1 lakh at the time when the girl reaches an age of 18 years.

Benefits of Bhagyashree Scheme:

• Rs. 21200 will be deposited to account of girl child before the completion of her 1 year of age after her birth
• The girl child will get the benefit of cash amount Rs. 100000(1 lakh) after completion of 18 years of age
• Two girl children from family can get benefits
• The female child will get the scholarship of Rs. 100 per month for studying in class 9^th to 12^th
• Parents of the girl child will get an insurance under the scheme Aam Admi Bima Yojna for that premium will be given by bhagyashree scheme

Eligibility for Bhagyashree Scheme:

1. Female children of all communities are eligible who belong to below poverty line but the benefits will not be given to more than two girl child from a family
2. Female girls parents must have domicile of Maharashtra state
3. Female girls parents must do family planning operation after second female childbirth
4. This scheme is applicable to girl children in the age group of 0 to 18 years, whose parents’ age does not exceed 60 years
