The State Government of Madhya Pradesh has started computer training scheme for the tribal youth in the state. The Purpose of the scheme is to provide training to the tribal youth in Information Technology and Computer Application who are living in Hostels/Ashrams located anywhere in the state. The nature of the training is Modern office methodology and English language to the eligible youth through the M.P.Council of Employment and Training (MAPCET). The government of Madhya Pradesh has established the Tribal Technical Education Board in the year 1981 for the scheduled caste community which has been renamed as M.P. Council of Employment & Training (MAPCET) 1989. The main aim of MAPCET to organize various skill development training programs for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe community of the state to enhance their employment/self-employment opportunities in the state. In this scheme, all the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes students of Madhya Pradesh can get benefits of Computer Training Scheme

Benefits of Computer Training Scheme for Tribal Youth:

• Benefits of Computer Training to tribal youth who lives in Hostels/Ashrams
• Training in Communication skill
• Computer operations and usage
• Personal effectiveness
• Information collection
• Accounting practices
• Office management and office equipment operations
• And a four weeks practical training in any industry or in any Government office is provided to youth who have selected for training program

Eligibility for Computer Training Scheme for Tribal Youth:

1. Applicant should be resident of Madhya Pradesh
2. All the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes students of Madhya Pradesh who have secured maximum marks in Higher Secondary examinations are eligible for this scheme
3. The priority is given in selections to such scheduled caste and scheduled tribe youth who scored more than 55 % marks in Higher Secondary Examinations and they belong to rural areas

Documents required for Computer Training Scheme for Tribal Youth:

1. Aadhaar card
2. Caste certificate
3. Higher Secondary Examinations mark sheet
4. Passport size photo
