To take responsibility and provide assistance to the families of health care workers in case of death of the worker while on duty

Madhya Pradesh government has launched Corona Warriors scheme again for the front-line health care workers across the state. In view of the prevalent second wave of the pandemic this scheme is being relaunched. Initially it was launched during the last year. This announcement was made by CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the health care workers in the state through video conferencing on April 29, 2021. Under this scheme, in case of death of any health care worker while on duty, the government will provide an honorarium of Rs. 50 lakhs to the family. All the health care workers across the state will be covered in this scheme. In the video conference, CM also expressed gratitude towards the doctors, nurses and all the health care workers for serving the people relentlessly throughout the pandemic
