On October 25, 2021, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched Electric two-wheelers to workers initiative to promote the usage of electric vehicles in the state. Under this initiative the state government will provide electric two wheelers to industrial and construction workers at subsidized rates. It tends to promote increased electric mobility in the state. This initiative is mainly to promote green transportation. Under this initiative, government approved made in India vehicles with a speed coverage of 50 kms in one charge, will be eligible. Use of electric vehicles is intended to reduce the level of pollution in the state and at national level.
