Gati Shakti Infra Scheme

On August 15, 2021 Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced ‘Gati Shakti Infra Scheme’ in his Independence day speech from the Red Fort, New Delhi. This scheme is mainly planned for development of overall infrastructure in the country. It aims to increased industrial production and productivity. This highly ambitious scheme will also bring new employment opportunities for the youth in the country. Gati Shakti Infra scheme will lead to holistic development of infrastructure thereby boosting manufacturing and exports. This scheme will soon be launched as a master plan for becoming globally competitive in the long run. The budget allocated for this scheme is Rs. 100 lakh crores.
