IRDP Scholarship Scheme

The Himachal Pradesh government and the Higher education board have announced the IRDP Scholarship Scheme. This scheme will be awarded to the Students belonging to IRDP families and studying in 9th to University level who are pursuing their study in Govt. Aided Institutions in H.P. Yearly, the department offers lacks of money to the needed students who want to continue their higher education. There are lacks of students who have the good mind and ability to review more but resulting from poor financial positions they don’t seem to be capable of go for higher education. The Himachal board has made the Application registration online making it easier for all the students belonging to different category and religions to apply for new applicants and also renew their old applications.

Benefits of IRDP Scholarship Scheme:

  • IRDP Scholarship Scheme provides benefits in the form of financial assistance for higher education
  • The boy student of 9th and 10th will get Rs. 300 per annum and Girl student of 9th and 10th will get Rs. 600/- per annum
  • The girl and boy students of 11th  and 12th  will get Rs. 800 per annum
  • The student under this scheme will get Rs. 1200/- per annum for day scholars and Rs. 2400/- per annum for hostellers

Required Eligibility and Conditions for IRDP Scholarship Scheme:

  1. The student should be a domicile of Himachal Pradesh, India
  2. The student who got admission in any of the notified institutions for pursuing a full-time course at the level of Post matric/Diploma according to the norms prescribed by the respective institution
  3. The candidate should not avail any other scholarship under any scheme of the Government of India

Document required for applying IRDP Scholarship Scheme:

  1. Passport size Photograph
  2. Aadhar card scanned copy
  3. Bonafide Certificate of Himachali
  4. Last year result copy
  5. Current bank account statement
  6. Income certificate taken from authority
  7. IRDP / BPL certificate
  8. Fee structure approved by university
  9. Fees payment receipts

Application Procedure:

  1. Visit the scholarship official website: http://hpepass.cgg.gov.in/NewHomePage.do
  2. Click for student login and fill required information
  3. ID and Password will be generated
  4. Make a login by entering ID and Password
  5. Application form will open fill the required information along with upload photograph
  6. Take a print out of that application form and submit it to school/institute with all document
