The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr Raman Singh has launched the new scheme called as Manrega Mazdoor Tiffin Yojana (MMTY) on 10th August 2018. Healthy food will be provided to labourers of the state under the scheme. More than 10 lakh labourers in the state will be given a three-box tiffin. Tiffin box will be provided to labourers free of cost. This tiffin scheme comes under the Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Rozgar Guarantee Yojana, which consists of around 10,80,000 labourers. Labourers in the state will be given tiffin box within a month. On the launching of this scheme, the Chief Minister Raman Singh has distributed tiffin boxes to some labourers.
