The Marketing Assistance Scheme for Minority is launched by Central Government, Ministry of Minority Affairs, National Minority Development and Finance Corporation. The Marketing Assistance Scheme is launched for individual crafts-persons, beneficiaries of NMDFC as well as SHG (Self Help Group) and is implemented through both SCA as well as NGO. With the aim to support the crafts-persons to promote marketing & sale of their products at remunerative prices, NMDFC assists the SCA and NGO in organizing State / District level exhibitions at selected locations. In these exhibitions, handloom/handicraft products of Minority crafts-persons are exhibited and sold. Such exhibitions also serve the purpose of organizing “buyer-seller meet”, which is considered very useful for product development and market promotion, for the domestic market as well as for exports. Required eligibility and conditions for applying Marketing Assistance Scheme for Minority:
- Applicant must belong to the Minority Community
- Applicant must be permanent resident of India
- Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, and Zoroastrians (Parsis) are able to get scholarship
- Scheme is open for all minority individual crafts-persons, beneficiaries of NMDFC as well as SHG

- Permanent residence proof
- BPL card if available
- Identity proof
- Academic certificates, marksheet
