The Chief Minister of Haryana Manoharlal Khattar has announced Mukhyamantri Kisan Khet Sadak Marg Yojana to strengthen rural roads across the state. Road in & around 500 Km of each of the assembly constituency will be constructed under the scheme. The scheme will be implemented in the next 5 years.
The primary objective of the scheme to improve road rural connectivity. The improved roads will provide quick market access to the farmers in the state. Good roads will also help students, patients quickly & conveniently reach district headquarters & cities. The strengthening of roads to happen in the phased manner.
Objectives:
- To make sure villages has good connectivity to the cities
- Farmers has faster market access
- To double farmer`s income by 2022
Mukhyamantri Kisan Khet Sadak Marg Yojana Highlights:
- A scheme to strengthen the rural roads & improve connectivity
- Rural Development Department of Haryana is given responsibility of the implementation of the scheme
- The construction of roads to happen in the phased manner
- In the first phase 25 Km passes of 3 & 4 karam in villages from each of the constituency would be constructed
- All the roads will be made out of khadanja & the construction will be completed in next 5 years
- Farmers will be able to register their cultivable land & crop twice in the year now on
- More Common Service Centers (CSC) will be established across all the villages
- The crop & cultivable land registrations can be done in the CSCs
- The registration will help farmers in compensation, procurement, insurance & bank loans
- Registration of both the types of lands cultivable & non-cultivable can be done at CSCs
- The state government to focus on the peri-urban farming
- The peri-urban farming in Haryana will serve around 4 crore population of Delhi, Faridabad, Noida, Gurugram
