To provide financial and social security to the poor families in the state

Haryana government started Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana (MMPSY) in the state to benefit the families belonging to the poor and economically weaker sections. This scheme was launched by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. This is unique social security scheme under which the beneficiaries will be eligible for benefits of 6 central government schemes namely Pradhan mantri Jivan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyapaari Mandhan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana. This scheme tends to provide the benefit of life and accidental insurance, along with pension benefits, etc. Each family will be entitled to Rs. 6000/- per annum under the scheme subject to premiums and contributions. Benefit amount under the scheme will be provided to the beneficiaries directly in the bank account. Applications can be made by the eligible family heads by filling the form offline of online through the official portal as feasible.

Scheme Objectives & Benefits:

  • The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial and social security to the poor families in the state
  • All the families with annual income less than 1.8 lakhs will be covered under this scheme
  • Farmers and unorganized sector workers will also be covered
  • It aims to provide benefits of 6 central government schemes to the beneficiaries under one roof
  • Under this scheme, each eligible family will get Rs. 6000 per year subject to premiums and contributions of all the 6 schemes covered
  • All the applicable contributions (beneficiary and central government contributions) under the scheme will be borne by the state government
  • The amount of benefit will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary through DBT

Eligibility:

  • Families residing in Haryana state will only be covered
  • Families should have annual income upto Rs. 1.8 lakhs
  • Total land holding of the family should not be more than 5 acres i.e., 2 hectares
  • Families should have a Family ID i.e., Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) number

Distribution of Benefits:

  • Financial assistance of Rs. 6000 will be provided to each family under this scheme
  • Out of which Rs. 330 per annum will be as premium under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. This premium is applicable to beneficiaries in the age group of 18-50 years
  • 12 per annum will be as premium under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. This premium is applicable to beneficiaries in the age group of 18-70 years
  • Applicable amount of premium under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, if any, will have to be paid by the beneficiaries
  • 55-200 per month as contribution under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan Yojana or Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyapaari Mandhan Yojana or Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana. This is applicable to beneficiaries in the age group of 18-40 years. Pension amount of Rs. 3000 per month will be paid to the beneficiaries on attaining 60 years of age
  • For all the schemes mentioned, beneficiary contributions and central government contributions will be borne by the state government
  • Remaining amount left with the beneficiary in the account can be withdrawn in cash or can be transferred to Family Provident Fund. Returns of investment can be earned through this option.

  • Then login on the portal using family ID and get the verification done through OTP

  • Submit the form and take a printout of the form for reference
  • Process can be completed at Antyodaya Kendras, SARAL Kendras, Atal Sewa Kendras/ Common Service Centres
  • Applications will be verified by the concerned authorities and eligible applications will be approved thereby
  • Easy application process is helpful to the beneficiaries
  • Accordingly, the benefit amount will be transferred to the beneficiary account through direct bank transfer
  • The scheme aims at providing financial and social security to the beneficiaries across the state
  • Though there are some complaints as to incorrect distribution of beneficiaries because most of the beneficiaries covered under the scheme are from the poor families in the rich districts only and thus the beneficiaries from the poor and backward districts in the state are seemed to be left out from the scheme
