On October 25, 2021 Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami newly launched One district, Two products scheme for promoting local products in the state thereby benefitting the farmers and craftsmen in the state. Under this scheme the state government will select two products from each district and support developing these products as per the market demand. It tends to infuse modern technology through skill and design development and raw material. This scheme aims to promote the local products and pave the way for these products in the international market. New employment and self-employment opportunities will be generated through this scheme. Local products like mushroom of Dehradun, jaggery and honey products of Haridwar and Aipan, candle craft of Nainital and other such items will be included under this scheme.

- Products like Almora’s tweed and sweet made of roasted khoya and coated with white sugar balls called ‘bal mithai’, millet biscuits of Bageshwar, brass craft products, mushroom of Dehradun, jaggery and honey products of Haridwar and Aipan, candle craft of Nainital district will be included under this scheme.
- Aromatic herbal items of Chamoli, bakery products, handicraft products of Champawat, wooden products of Pithoragarh, rajma of Munsyari, herbal and wooden products of Pauri, temple artifacts of Rudraprayag, tehri noserings and apples of Uttarkashi districts will also be included under this scheme.
