The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is launched on June 25th, 2015 and aim build these 2 crore houses in 7 years. This will provide affordable housing to the people of India. The scheme is applicable for people belonging to LIG (Low Income Group) & EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) across India. 1. Applicant’s Aadhar card is compulsory
2. Applicant’s basic information like Address, Parents Details etc.

Application procedure

1. To apply online form Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana please visit link mention ahead: http://pmaymis.gov.in/. post visiting link a window will appear which will look like the image posted below
2. 
3. If you are currently living in slum area, then select “For Slum Dwellers” otherwise select “Benefits under other 3 Components” from the drop-down menu
4. OR You can directly click the following links to apply online for PMAY
5. For Slum Dwellers: http://pmaymis.gov.in/
6. Benefits of other 3 Components: http://pmaymis.gov.in/
7. On the next page, as seen below, you will have to enter your Aadhar number and click the “Check” button
8. 
9. If your Aadhar number is correct, a new page will open which will look like the below image, Without Aadhar, you cannot apply for PMAY
10. Fill all details correctly including your personal details, contact details, current residential address, Aadhar Number, Bank Account details and income details in the application form
11. 
12. Click the checkbox which says “I am aware of….” and then click the “Save” Button at the end of application form
13. 
14. Once you click “Save”, you will see a new screen where a system generated application number will be given to you, you can either print this directly if a printer is attached to your computer or save it for your future reference.
15. Your application is now complete. You can track status of PMAY application by visiting next link mentioned: http://pmaymis.gov.in/Track_Application_Status.aspx
