The Government of India provides facilities for Indian citizens. To obtain Senior citizen card applicant should be above 60 years old. The senior citizen certificate/card will allow the cardholder to receive numerous facilities such as discounts in Railways, Flights and other several benefits from the concerned government. The detailed procedure for obtaining Senior Citizen Identity Card such as Eligibility criteria, documents required and Application procedure is mention below

 Eligibility for Application to Issue Senior Citizen Identity Card in Delhi:

1. Applicant should be Resident of Delhi State
2. Applicant age should be 60 or above
3. Applicant residing alone or with spouse are eligible for Online Registration

Required Documents:

1. Proof of residence
2. Age Detail

Required Information to issue Senior Citizen Identity Card in Delhi:

1. Name and Gender
2. Date of Birth and age
3. Address, District, contact numbers and email address
4. Religion
5. Field of Specialization
6. Year of Retirement
7. Retired From
8. Spouse’s Details
9. Relative’s Details

 Application Procedure:

1. Applicant may apply for Senior Citizen Identity Card by filling up an Online Senior Citizen Form: http://www.delhipolice.nic.in/seniorcitizen/index.html
2. After clicking on above link candidate will be sent to the following page

4. After reaching on that page candidate has to click on online registration option which is mention on that page
5. Then-candidate will send to further page
6. 
7. So here on this page applicant will see two blocks first is Register as Senior Citizen & second one is Senior Citizen Cell Login so, candidate has to click on register Senior Citizen if not already register
8. 
9. Here put the Mobile No & Date of birth and fill further details after clicking on submit button 
10. 
11. Then Submit your application, and check for further instructions
12. Applicant will receive his/her senior citizen identity card once his/her application is approved and his/her documents verified
