Providing Tin Stalls to Gatai Kamgar introduced by the state government of Maharashtra in association with Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. Under this scheme, government provides tin stalls to gatai kamgar on 100% grant and Rs. 500 as financial assistance to gatai kamgar. The goal of the scheme is to uplift people of scheduled casts and underprivileged who are working in leather and footwear industry for generations. The till stalls will provide them shelter from sun, rain, and wind. The government provides tin stalls to those whose annual income is below Rs. 40,000 in rural areas and Rs. 50,000 in urban areas. The scheme requires the land where the stall will be placed should be owned by the applicant or leased/rented to the applicant by the Gram Panchayat, Municipal Corporation or Cantonment Board. The main object of the schemes to uplift lives of scheduled cast Charmakars communities who are economically weak and below the poverty line. The government has an intention to develop them educationally, economically and socially. The application for this scheme needs to be submitted to Assistant Commissioner, District Social welfare office.

Eligibility criteria for Providing Tin Stall to Gatai Kamgar Scheme:

1. Applicant must be from scheduled castes
2. Applicant should be resident of Maharashtra state
3. The annual income of the applicant should be below Rs. 40,000 in the rural areas and Rs. 50,000 in the urban areas
4. The applicant must be minimum 18 years old
5. The place where the applicant asking for the stall must be provided on rent/lease/purchased/official free hand by Gram Panchayat, Cantonment Board or Municipal corporation or must be of own property of the applicant

Documents required for Tin stalls to Gatai Kamgar Scheme:

1. Applicant Aadhaar card
2. Applicant caste certificate
3. Applicant income certificate

Application procedure for Tin stalls to Gatai Kamgar:

1. Applicant should submit the application form to Assistant Commissioner, District Social welfare office in Maharashtra
2. Applicant can also contact Gram Panchayats or Municipal Corporation
