Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav is the National Cultural Festival of India conceptualized by the Ministry of Culture (Government of India) to celebrate the spirit of Tradition, Culture, Heritage, and Diversity of our incredible country. The broader motive of this festival is to Preserve, Promote & Popularize the heritage of Indian Spirit, reconnect the new generation with Indian culture and showcase to the country and the world power of unity in diversity. This festival is playing the role of representing each and every dimension of Indian culture, tradition and showcasing it to the country. This festival will be held between October 15 and October 23 in the national capital, Delhi. The seven Zonal Cultural Centres under the Indian Ministry of Culture East, West, North, South, North Central, South Central and North East are organizing the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav (RSM). The government organizing this event with an objective of connecting the younger generations with the heritage and diversity of Indian culture, this festival will present a unique opportunity to witness each and every folk, traditional, tribal and classical art forms of India under a single roof.
