Kerala government has announced the Smart Kitchen Scheme for reducing the workload of the women across the state. Scheme announcement was made by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on May 26, 2021. The secretary level committee will be framing the guidelines and will be putting forth some recommendations to the government for the implementation of the scheme by July 10, 2021. This scheme is a part of the LDF manifesto. It aims at assisting the women in the state thereby reducing their domestic workload.
