The Haryana Government launched Super 100 Scheme for meritorious students from the government schools in the state. The objective of the scheme is to encourage students for the higher studies and help them prepare for the competitive examinations for the admissions to the medical and engineering. The Manoharlal Khattar government in Haryana will provide free JEE and NEET coaching along with facilities of boarding to the meritorious students in the state from the government schools.
What is Super 100? A government of Haryana scheme to provide free coaching and boarding to the meritorious students from government schools for competitive examinations.
Objective of Super 100 Scheme:
- To encourage students for higher studies
- To provide equal opportunities to students from economically weaker background
- To provide coaching from experts on the competitive examinations
- To promote engineering and medical education across the state
Super 100 Scheme Benefits:
- Free 2 years coaching from experts for JEE & NEET examinations
- Admission to the class 11th and 12th class
- Free boarding, lodging and travel arrangements (once in three months)
Super 100 Scheme Eligibility:
- The scheme is only for the students from Haryana
- Students from government schools only are eligible for the scheme
- Students who has scored more than 85% marks are eligible
- Students who qualify entrance test to be conducted in June only are selected
Super 100 2018 Entrance Test Date: The entrance exam will be conducted in the second week of June 2018
Super 100: How it works / How to apply?
- 225 students from the government schools will get free coaching from expert teachers
- Students will be selected on the basis of the entrance test
- The entrance test will be conducted in the second week of June 2018 in all the districts in Haryana
- Students will scored more than 85% in the class 10th examinations will be eligible for the examinations
- Selected 225 boys & girl students will be given free coaching for next 2 years for JEE and NEET entrance exams
- 125 students will be given admission to the Government school in Rewari and 100 will be admitted in Karnal where they will complete their 11th and 12th
- At the same time they will be provided free coaching to prepare for engineering and medical entrance examinations
- The entire expenditure of 225 students of boarding, lodging and travel arrangements (once in three months) of students during these two years, would be borne by the Haryana Government
- The government has directed state district education officers and principles to encourage parents and students to avail benefits of Super 100 scheme and participate in the entrance exam
- Government has signed an MOU with Vikalp Foundation Rewari to conduct free coaching
- Another MoU will soon be singed for boarding, lodging facility for the students
- Equal number of girls and boys will be selected for the scheme
- State government has alloted budge of 1 crore for the scheme
