Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship is the scholarship scheme for the student who perform well in their Secondary School Examination. Students get this scholarship in two formats. One when the student is in higher secondary studies and another when the student is pursuing his/her undergraduate studies, post-graduate studies or diploma holders. The scheme is purely based on merit basis. Student clearing the exams in first class are eligible for the scheme.
Benefits of Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship:
- Scholarship for SSC passed out student: Students clearing SSC examination successfully will get Rs. 500 per month scholarship
- Scholarship for HSC passed out student: Students clearing HSC examination successfully will get Rs. 750 to Rs. 1500 per month scholarship
- Scholarship for Diploma pursuing student: Students performing well in diploma examination will get Rs. 750 per month scholarship
- Scholarship for Graduate degree holder student: Students completing their under-graduate studies successfully will get Rs. 1200 to Rs. 1400 per month scholarship
- Scholarship for first year Medical under-grad student: Students performing well in their medical studies will also get scholarship
Eligibility for Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship:
- SSC cleared students: Student must have more than 75% of marks in his/her SSC examination in order to grab this scholarship
- HSC cleared students: Student must have more than 75% of marks in his/her HSC examination in order to grab this scholarship
- Diploma pursuing students: Student must have above 75% of marks in HSC examination and secured admission in any diploma course
- Student pursuing PG courses: Student must have more than 55% of marks in their undergrad exams and has secured admission in any post graduate study

Application forms are available at schools and submitted there itself. But applications printed online need to take its print out and to be sent on the following address
