U-Health Card Scheme for Government Employee and Pensioners

The U-Health Card Scheme for Government Employee and Pensioners started by Uttarakhand State Government (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) for a government employee, pensioners and their dependents. Under this scheme, the cashless medical facility is provided to Uttarakhand Government Employees/ Pensioners & their dependents on admission in impaneled private hospitals. The main objective behind introducing this scheme is to provide cashless health facility to government employees, pensioners, and their dependents. Provides cashless health facility like e.g. free medical bill, medicines, and other facilities. Till date, 61 private hospitals (51 in Uttarakhand & 10 outside Uttarakhand) are impaneled & Smart Card Readers are installed in these hospitals

  • U-Health Card Scheme for Government Employee and Pensioners provides benefits by providing cashless health treatment or cashless medical facility in impaneled private hospitals
  • Under this scheme, a biometric card is issued to the Govt. Employees/Pensioners which houses his family details (photo, thumb impression). Till date, 61 private hospitals (51 in Uttarakhand & 10 outside Uttarakhand) are impaneled & Smart Card Readers are installed in these hospitals

Required eligibility and conditions for applying U-Health Card Scheme for Government Employee and Pensioners:

  1. All Uttarakhand government employee and pensioners and their dependents are eligible for getting benefits under this scheme
  2. Under the scheme employee and pensioner required to annual contribution as a premium as per their grade pay

Document required for applying U-Health Card Scheme for Government Employee and Pensioners:

  1. Aadhar card
  2. Election card
  3. Pan card
  4. Passport size photograph
  5. Payslip or Pension slip copy
  6. Self-declaration certificate
