The Telangana Government announced their budget 2019-20 in the State Legislative Assembly on 22nd February 2019. The government proposed an Unemployment Allowance Scheme for unemployed Telangana youth. They will be given unemployment allowance/berojgari bhatta of Rs. 3,016 per month. The Telangana CM who holds Finance Ministry also presented the budget. It was a vote-on-account budget.
The financial assistance for the the unemployed youth will help them sustain themselves while they are looking for jobs.

Benefits:
- Unemployed allowance will be paid to the unemployed in the state

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicable to unemployed youth only
- Applicable to the permanent residents of the Telangana only
NOTE: Age limit, family income list & other criterion are yet to be announced. The government just announced the scheme. The application form & application procedures for the Telangana Unemployment Allowance Scheme will be available once the scheme is formally launched.
Telangana government has alloted the budget of Rs. 1,810 crore for the unemployment allowance. The state CM K Chandrasekhar Rao presented the budget. He announced many social welfare schemes & increased the budget of various other schemes. He proposed the increase the in financial assistance given to the farmers with Rythu Bandhu Scheme. Farm loan waiver is also announced in the budget. Under the proposed agricultural loan waiver scheme all the crop loans upto Rs. 1 lakh taken before 11th December 2018 are waived off. Budget of Rs. 6,000 is allocated for the loan waiver.
