Unemployment Allowance Scheme for Youth in Himachal Pradesh

On the occasion of 70th foundation day of Himachal Pradesh, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Virbhadra Singh takes initiative for the youth and started Unemployment Allowance Scheme for Youth in the recent financial year 2017-18. Now, unemployed youth who are having at least intermediate qualifications or above will get Unemployment Allowance of Rs. 1,000 per month by the Government of Himachal Pradesh and disabled unemployed youth get Unemployment Allowance of Rs. 1,500 per month. This scheme has the intention to provide an allowance to the eligible educated unemployed youth of Himachal Pradesh state to enable them to sustain themselves for a certain period of time. The allowance payable to only those youth who are between the age group of 20 to 35 years. The main objective of this scheme is to provide Unemployment Allowance to the youth who are unable to sustain themselves from their own resources. So, this scheme will provide a better livelihood to the youth and make their life easy. For getting benefits under this scheme applicant candidate need to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below in articles like income limit and other things mentioned below

Benefits of Unemployment Allowance Scheme for Youth:

• The government provides Unemployment Allowance of Rs. 1,000 per month to the youth who are having at least intermediate qualifications
• Disabled unemployed youth also get Unemployment Allowance of Rs. 1,500 per month for the duration of 2 years

Eligibility for Unemployment Allowance Scheme for Youth:

1. Applicant should be resident of Himachal Pradesh
2. Applicant should be unemployed youth
3. Applicant should be above 20 years and below 35 years of age  as on the date of application
4. Applicant should have passed minimum 10+2 from any Board/University/Institution recognized by the Himachal government
5. Applicant should not be self-employed
6. Applicant annual family income should be less than Rs. 2.00 Lakh

1. Aadhaar card
2. Income certificate
3. Bonafide certificate
4. Education certificate
5. Bank account details

How to apply for Unemployment Allowance Scheme for Youth:

1. Visit official site http://admis.hp.nic.in/unemp/
2. Click on Check your eligibility for Unemployment Allowance in the official site
3. If applicant is eligible for the allowance then click on apply online
4. Now fill the form and submit it
5. After submitting online application, applicant is required to take print of Application Form and attach the all essential  documents and submit all these documents to the concerned Employment Exchange
