Madhya Pradesh government is about to launch a new scheme named ‘Vaidya Apke Dwaar’ under which about 362 Ayurveda wellness clinics will be started thereby promoting Ayurveda and ayurvedic medicines to help people live long and healthy lives. This scheme will be launched for the entire state. Through these wellness centres the Ayurvedic doctors would treat diseases arising due to lifestyle and others, conduct health survey to know the health status of the residents, prevent various ailments, etc. It will thereby help to maintain safe and good health for everyone across the state. It tends to increase employment opportunities for Ayurvedic doctors in the state. This scheme would be in implementation by the end of March, 2021. Estimated outlay for this scheme is 55.5 crore for now which is subject to increase if need arises.
