The chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje has launched an ambitious scheme for the poor in the state. The scheme is called as Annapurna Rasoi Yojana and will provide subsidized food for the underprivileged people of Rajasthan. The scheme is based on the Amma Canteen in Tamilnadu by late chief minister of Tamilnadu J. Jayalalitha. Government of Rajasthan will setup canteens across the state and they will be called as Annapurna Rasoi. These canteens will provide clean, hygienic and nutritious food to the poor at the the nominal rates. The scheme is meant for auto wallas, labourers, rickshaw pullers, students, employees, working women, senior citizens, disabled and needy. Under the scheme break fast will be provided at the nominal rate of Rs. 5 and lunch and dinners will be provided at the rate of Rs. 8. The actual cost of the food/meal is more than Rs. 5 / Rs. 8 but government will bare the rest of the cost. To start with the Annapurna canteens will be setup in 10 districts across Rajasthan and then gradually spread across the state.

First 10 districts to implement the scheme: Udaipur, Bharatpur, Baran, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Banswara, Jaipur, Bikaner, Jhalarapatan and Jhawlawar
Rajasthan Government has also chosen the locations for the canteens and they will be functional soon. These canteens will be mobile vans and to start with there will be 80 mobile food vans/food trucks serving the food. There will be strict guidelines w.r.t. to functioning of the canteen, setup of the canteen, quality of the food, nutritious value of the food and will be inspected by the government. All the staff in Annapurna Canteen will be trained in hospitality and they will have uniform, caps, gloves and apron to make sure the cleanliness and hygiene.
अन्नपूर्णा रसोई योजना – सबके लिए भोजन, सबके लिये सम्मान
राजस्थान में मुख्यमंत्री वसुंधरा राजे ने राज्य में गरीबों के लिए एक महत्वाकांक्षी योजना शुरू की है। यह योजना अन्नपूर्णा रसोई योजना है और राजस्थान के वंचित लोगों के लिए रियायती भोजन प्रदान करेगी। यह योजना तमिलनाडु के दिवंगत मुख्यमंत्री जे. जयललिता द्वारा तमिलनाडु में अम्मा कैंटीन पर आधारित है। इस योजना के तहत राज्य सरकार राज्यभर में अन्नपूर्णा कैंटीन मोबाइल वैन सेटअप करेगा। इन कैंटीनों नाममात्र दरों पर गरीबों को साफ, स्वच्छ और पौष्टिक भोजन प्रदान किया जायेगा। यह योजना मुख़ता ऑटो चलनेवाले, मजदूर, रिक्शा चालकों, छात्रों, कर्मचारियों, कामकाजी महिलाओं, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों, विकलांग और जरूरतमंद लोगों के लिए है। अन्नपूर्णा कैंटीन गरिबोको मामूली दर पर खाना देगा। सुबह का नाश्ता ५ रुपयो में और खाना ८ रुपयो में। ऐसे कैंटीन सुरुआत में १० जिलो में सुरु किये जायेंगे और जल्दही पुरे प्रदेश में अन्नपूर्णा कैंटीन्स होंगे।
अन्नपूर्णा रसोई योजना के लाभ:

३. दोपहर के भोजन रात्रिभोज ८ रुपयो में
४. गरीबों के लिए स्वच्छ और पौष्टिक भोजन
अन्नपूर्णा रसोई योजना के लाभार्थि: ऑटो चलनेवाले, मजदूर, रिक्शा चालकों, छात्रों, कर्मचारियों, कामकाजी महिलाओं, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों, विकलांग और जरूरतमंद
सबसे पहले 10 जिलों योजना को लागू करने के लिए: उदयपुर, भरतपुर, बारां, डूंगरपुर, प्रतापगढ़, जोधपुर, कोटा, अजमेर, बांसवाड़ा, जयपुर, बीकानेर, झालरापाटन और झवलावर
राजस्थान सरकार ने कैंटीन के लिए स्थानों को चुना है और वे जल्द ही कार्यारित होंगे। यह मुखता मोबाइल वैन ही होंगे। अन्नपूर्णा कैंटीन में सभी कर्मचारियों को आतिथ्य में प्रशिक्षित किया जाएगा और वे वर्दी, टोपी, दस्ताने और एप्रन में ही कार्यरित होंगे।
