Uttar Pradesh government has announced scheme Banking Correspondent Sakhi Yojna or BC Sakhi yojana (बैंकिंग कॉरसपोंडेंट सखी योजना). The scheme will provide employment opportunities to women from UP villages. They will be given salary of Rs.4,000 per month also financial assistance of Rs.50,000.
58,000 women will get employment in first phase under the scheme. They will provide banking services at home in rural area of UP.

- The scheme is applicable for rural women
- The scheme is available in villages of Uttar Pradesh
All the banks will be associated with this scheme and reach-out to all the villages of UP. Women employees under the scheme will provide banking services door to door.
