Bhagavan Buddha Post SSC Scholarship launched by Ministry of Education, Government of Gujarat. A scheme introduced with an aim to encourage SC girl students to continue their higher studies after SSC. As we know the importance of education and girl beings deprive of it not desirable. An initiative of Gujarat government helping many girls in the state to complete higher education. Under this scheme, girls are provided financial assistance as per respective studies. The Scheduled Caste girls who are not eligible for Post-SSC Scholarship due to more than two children of employed parents or income of the family is more, even such girls can get scholarships from State Government for post-SSC studies. All girl resident of Gujarat can avail benefits under this scheme. Benefits of Bhagavan Buddha Post SSC Scholarship in Gujarat:
- Bhagavan Buddha Post SSC Scholarship has introduced with a view to encouraging SC girl students to continue their higher studies after SSC. The scheme provides benefits in the form of financial assistance and other. Benefits are mentioned below in details
- Degree and Post-graduation courses – Medical, Engineering etc.: For Hosteller Rs. 1200 and for Day-scholar Rs. 550
- Diploma course, certificate courses and degree and post-graduation course like M.Phil., Ph.D. CA, ICWA, C.S. etc. which are not including in Group-1: For Hosteller Rs. 820 and for Day-scholar Rs. 530
- All Graduation and Post-Graduation courses not included in Group-1 & 2: For Hosteller Rs. 570 and for Day-scholar Rs. 300
- All post-SSC course, Std. XI and 12, ITI vocational course: For Hosteller Rs. 380 and for Day-scholar Rs. 230
Required eligibility and conditions applying for Bhagavan Buddha Post SSC Scholarship:
- Girls resident of Gujarat are eligible
- Girls belong to Scheduled Caste are eligible
- Girls who have passed SSC are eligible under this scheme
Required documents for Bhagavan Buddha Post SSC Scholarship:
- Identity proof: Aadhar card, Voter ID, College ID etc.
- Residence proof: PAN card, Residence certificate etc.
- Income proof
- Aadhar card
- Passport size photograph
- Academics certificates
- Bank details e.g. Account number, IFSC, MICR code
- Other documents may be required
- Caste certificate
