The government in-order to compete with the other popular e-wallets has launched BHIM app cashback offers scheme for customers. BHIM cashback offer provides cashback of Rs. 750 per month to the users for digital payments and money transfers.
What is BHIM app?
- Bharat Interface for Money
- A digital payments app (e-wallet) launched by the government of India
- Can by used for payments and to sent and receive money digitally
- Based on UPI (Unified Payment Interface) & based on AADHAAR
- Implemented by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI)

The BHIM app was launched by PM Shree Narendra Money in 2016 and along with the launch the cashaback offer was launched for the merchants to encourage them to accept cash digitally. The merchants can earn monthly cashback of Rs. 1000 under the BHIM cashback scheme.
Eligibility & Terms for BHIM app cashback offer scheme:
- Only BHIM app users who pay or receive money using the BHIM app only are eligible
- For minimum transaction value of Rs. 10 and above, BHIM will give cashback based on the number of transactions every month
- For 20-50 transactions there`s a cashback of Rs. 50
- For 50-100 transactions there`s a cashback of Rs. 200 &
- For more than 100 transaction there is a cashback of Rs. 250
How to get cashback using BHIM app cashback offer scheme?
STEP 1: Download the BHIM app, CLICK HERE to download & install
STEP 2: Link it to your bank account
STEP 3: When you use BHIM app for payment for the first time you will receive cashback of Rs. 51
STEP 4: Subsequently cashback of Rs. 25 is given for every unique transaction with minimum value of Rs. 100
BHIM app cashback offer for merchants: BHIM app pays cashback to the merchants as well who receives payments using the BHIM app
- Cashback of 10% of the payment received with maximum of Rs. 50 per transaction
- BHIM app can be used by the merchants for payments above Rs. 25
- Merchants are given cashback of Rs. 1000 every month under the scheme
