Bihar Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/BC/SBC

The Bihar government and the Higher education board have announced the Pre and Post Matric Scholarship for lower and backward cast student’s scheme such as OBC, ST and SC. This scheme is for those students who are now studying in their respective Pre Matric and Post Matric courses including UG, PG Degree and Matric classes. Yearly, the department offers lacks of money to the needed students who want to continue their higher education. There are lacks of students who have the good mind and ability to review more but resulting from poor financial positions they don’t seem to be capable of go for higher education. To motivate all the capable students, the Bihar government provide Scholarship to all of them as per their financial condition. The Bihar board has made the Application registration online making it easier for all the students belonging to different category and religions to apply for new applicants and also renew their old applications.

Benefits of Bihar Scholarship Scheme:

• Bihar Scholarship Scheme provided benefits in the form of financial assistance for pre matric and post matric students
• The student perusing education in intermediate / I.A/ I.S.C/ I.COM/ any equal courses will get Rs. 200/- per month
• The student perusing education in Graduate courses like B.A/ B.SC/ B.COM/ Any equal course will get Rs. 500/- per month
• The student perusing education in Post Graduate M.A./ M.SC/ M.COM/ M.Phil/ Ph.D / Any equal course will get Rs. 500/- per month
• The student perusing education in I.T.I Course will get Rs. 500/- per month
• The student perusing education in any Three year Diploma will get Rs. 1000/- per month
• The student perusing education in Engineering/ Medical/ Management / Any equal course will get Rs. 1500/- per month

Required Eligibility and Conditions for Applying Bihar Scholarship Scheme:

1. The candidates must be having at least 80% of marks in class 12^th
2. Those who have secured at least 80% marks in class 12th will be considered for Scholarship benefit
3. Student’s parents should have an annual income of 1 lakhs. Students from class 10th and 12th are eligible to apply for this scheme
4. Preference will be given to students of government school/ board/ institute/ university.
5. Applicant must be from OBC, SC and ST categories
6. Candidate must be studying in Bihar state in any Government or Private Institution
7. Bihar Government provides 40% reservation in Scholarship for Girls

1. 10th & 12th Class Mark Sheet
2. Domicile certificate
3. Parents Income Certificate.
4. Caste Certificate of Candidate
5. Aadhar Card
6. College approval certificate
7. Character Certificate
8. Recent Passport size photograph

3. Then go to the online registration link
4. Read official instructions carefully
5. Fill the application form correctly
6. Now upload the required documents
7. After this, your fully filled application form will be displayed on your computer screen.
8. Check the printed details and then take the hard copy for further use
9. Applicants are strongly advised to keep mind the registration ID or keep safe the registration slip. You will need the registration number when you wants to track your scholarship status
