Chhattisgarh is one of India`s youngest state in India. The state will go for its 5th election for legislative assembly and will elect 5th Chief Minister. The tenure of the CM Dr. Shree Raman Singh ends in December 2018. The Chhattisgarh elections will happen in December 2018. The Chhattisgarh state legislative assembly has total 91 seats out of which 90 members are elected based on the elections from the constituencies whereas one member from anglo-Indian community is nominated directly to the assembly. The state has seen 4 elections so far and gearing up for the 5th elections. The election department is in the process of registering new voters and preparing the latest list of the electoral votes / voters list in Chhattisgarh.

CEO Chhattisgarh: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of the state is responsible to conduct the election in every state. The CEO Chhattisgarh will be conducting assembly election in state. Its his responsibility to conduct free and fair elections in the state. Shri Subrat Sahoo is the present Chief Election Officer of the state. The CEO`s office is responsible for registering voters in the state and prepare electoral roll with photo (Polling station wise / constituency wise / pooling station / booth wise voter list.
