Yesterday, at BJP training programme in Sehore district, CMO Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chauhan stated that farmers in the state will get Rs. 10,000/- each year under the Chief Minister’s Farmers Welfare Scheme. This scheme was launched on September 25, 2020, for assisting farmers across the state. Under this scheme, the farmers will be provided a financial assistance of Rs. 4000/- in 2 equal installments in a year. This scheme can be availed by the farmers registered under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. The registered will get an assistance of Rs. 4000/- under this scheme plus Rs.6000/- under Kisan Samman Nidhi, amounting to Rs. 10,000/- each year.

Scheme Objectives and Benefits:
- The main objective of the scheme is to benefit the farming sector
- It aims at providing Rs. 4000 in 2 equal installments of Rs. 2000/- each to the farmer’s account

Scheme Details:
- Chief Minister’s Farmers Welfare Scheme was launched by the Madhya Pradesh government on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji
- The farmers will get the benefit under the Central Government’s PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana as well as Chief Minister’s Farmers Welfare Scheme
- Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the farmers are getting Rs. 6000/- annually
- And now they will be provided an assistance of Rs. 4000/- under this scheme. In total the farmers will now get the benefit of Rs. 10,000/-
- This assistance of Rs. 4000 will be provided to the farmers in 2 equal installments of Rs. 2000 every year
- In the first phase of the scheme, 5 lakh 70 thousand farmers will be benefited under the scheme
- About 77 lakh farmers in the state are registered under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and almost each of the farmer will get the benefit in the long run
- Yesterday, CM stated that all the scheme will be restarted in the state and farmers will get Rs. 10,000/- each year
- CM also stated that Education is most important. All must educate their sons and daughters. In case anyone is not able to then state government is always there to help in terms of educational fees.
