Punjab state government announced Doorstep Ration Delivery Scheme in the state. This scheme announcement is made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on March 28, 2022. This scheme is started for the ration card holders across the state. Under the scheme the applicable ration will be sent to the respective eligible card holder at his door step. This scheme will ensure that people need not stand in long queues for getting ration. It intends to provide good quality ration to each and every eligible person. Under this scheme the people will get wheat or wheat flour, rice and sugar. This scheme is soon planned to be implemented across the state. Poor people across the state will be mainly benefitted through this scheme.

Eligibility:
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Punjab state.
- He/ she must possess a valid ration card.
