On January 7, 2021, the Punjab food, Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister, Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu launched the e-Daakhil portal for protecting consumer interests. This portal is a one stop window for filing online complaints against fraudulent practices or any other relevant issues. This platform is built based on the new Consumer Protection Act, 2019. It will protect the rights and interests of the consumers. On the portal the complaints can be registered by the customer/ advocate. E-Daakhil portal is a new, user friendly portal for faster registration and timely redressal of complaints.
