Educational Award Scheme launched by Ministry of Labour and Employment (Labour Welfare Board), Government of Gujarat. The scheme primarily aims to help children of labor working in industries and resident of Gujarat. Under this scheme, children are awarded financial amount. Children who scored more than 70% in 10^th or 12^th are eligible to get benefits. The scheme encourages children to pursue higher education and score more and more in further exams. A unique initiative helping to poor and also encouraging them to score well in forthcoming exams. All children of labor working in industries and resident of Gujarat can get benefits under this scheme.
