On February 3, 2021, Jal Shakti Ministry launched a new portal for Gobardhan scheme. This portal is a one stop window and a unified approach for various schemes, programmes and initiatives under Swachh Bharat Mission – Gramin. Gobardhan scheme is an initiative launched in April, 2018 which aims at cleanliness in villages aligned with generating bio-fuels from organic wastes. Gobardhan symbolize ‘Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources’ in villages. The Unified portal of Gobardhan is a new, user friendly portal which will enable real time information and coordination between stakeholders and departments.
