The Government of Maharashtra has launched a portal (website) for registration and online application for all the benefit schemes and scholarships. The name of the portal is MahaDBT (mahadbtmahait.gov.in) The portal is laucnhed under the Maharashtra Government`s flagship portal called Aaple Sarkar. The Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) helps citizens of Maharashtra know about various government schemes, subsidies and also helps them to apply for various schemes. Citizens also can use the portal for online application of various certificates such as birth certificate, death certificate, caste certificate and many more. The portal also transfer all the benefits of the various schemes directly to the beneficiaries AADHAAR linked bank accounts.
The objective of the MahaDBT portal is to simplify applications for various scholarships and to make sure that all the benefits reaches it`s intended recipients.

MahaDBT scholarships online registration form & online application procedure:
STEP 1: Go to MahaDBT portal at mahadbtmahait.gov.in
STEP 2: CLICK HERE or click on “New Applicant Registration” link
STEP 3: If you have AADHAAR number choose Yes else choose No
STEP 4: Aadhaar Based Registration: Provide your AADHAAR number and choose OTP, you will receive OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on Submit button to verify AADHAAR
STEP 5: Now you will be shown MahaDBT scholarship online registration form
STEP 6: Provide all the details such as name, date of birth, address along with username, password, email id and mobile number
STEP 7: Check your email and mobile your will receive OTP via sms and email, reenter the OTP or click on the link to verify yourself to complete the registration
STEP 8: Non-Aadhaar Based Registration: You will see MahaDBT registration form provide all the details such as email, mobile, name, date of birth, gender etc
STEP 9: Verify your email and mobile number using the OTP received on mobile or email to complete the registration
STEP 10: CLICK HERE to go to the login page, provide your username, password along with captcha and click on Login Here button
STEP 11: Choose the scholarships / benefits scheme you want to apply for
STEP 12: Fill in the application form, provide all the details such as school / college or institute details along with the course you are studying in
STEP 13: Upload the scanned copies of the required documents and submit the application
