मुख्यमंत्री वृद्ध महिला पोषण योजना (हिंदी में)
Mukhyamantri Vriddha Mahila Poshan Yojana launched by the Government of Uttarakhand for older women in Charba Anganwadi Kendra under Sahaspur area of the city. In this scheme, the government provides nutritious food in all Anganwadi Kendra’s for older women who are above 60 years of age. The scheme will be run through Anganwadi Kendra’s. Anganwadi Kendra will be strengthened further and developed as multi-purpose centers. The main reason to start this scheme is to provide nutritious food to the old age women so they can live healthy and better life. In all busy, public places like railway stations, you will find them very old and destitute people begging or simply wandering around. At that time Old age persons are living alone in the slums some of them are not having sons and daughters and also they are homeless. Regarding this, nutritious food to the older persons can improve their health and have hope for their remaining lives. The state wants to improve the condition of rural areas by also working to prevent death of women due to lack of nutrition or medical treatment
