On September 26, 2021, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang launched ‘One Family, One Entrepreneur’ scheme to promote entrepreneurships in the state. This scheme was launched in the Grameen Udyami Vikas Sammelan held at Pakyong. This event was organized by Sikkim Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Society (SEEDS). During the launch CM stated that youth in the state should be encouraged to come forward and take up entrepreneurial ventures. Youth should take that risk, take a step forward and the state government will be there to back them up and extend support wherever needed. CM stated the importance of being self-reliant as a state. Required training will be provided to the youth for skill development thereby enabling them to start their own ventures. This scheme tends to encourage more and more entrepreneurs in the state and strengthen the economic development of the state.
