The BPL and AYY cards are issued by the collectors of the respective areas. India’s public distribution system is based on the ration card. For Obtaining Ration Card Applicant has to submit required information and required Documents which is mention below in the procedures. Eligibility to Obtain Ration Card in Punjab:
- Applicant must be the resident of Punjab State
Required Documents:
- Three passport-sized family group photographs are to be attached
- Verification is to be made by the Sarpanch/Panch/M.C./any Gazetted Officer
- A Surrender Certificate is required for making a new Ration Card
Online Application Procedure:

Offline Application Procedure:
- Applicant should download form and filled that form further applicants must put their application at the e-suvidha center
- The application form can be obtained from the Food & Supplies Officer, the Assistant Food & Supplies Officer and the Inspector Food & Supplies from the concerned centers
- The form must be verified by the Sarpanch/Panch/Municipal Councilor/any Gazetted Officer
- In the office of FSO/ AFSO/ IFO, the application form is diarised in the Receipt Register
- Within a week, the Ration Card is handed over to the applicant
Validity: It’s renewed every 5 years
