Ration Apke Dwar Scheme

To ensure timely distribution of ration to the eligible beneficiaries in the state thereby ensuring their welfare.

Madhya Pradesh government is about to launch Ration Apke Dwar scheme for the tribal people in the state. Scheme launch will be done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the state on November 15, 2021. Under this scheme the state government will provide ration material to the poor tribal families in the state. Distribution of the foodgrains to the villages will be done by the state government through  transport vehicles. Authorities will test the quality of foodgrains and then load it in the transport vehicles to ensure good quality foodgrains reach the beneficiaries. This scheme will tend to ensure timely distribution of ration to the eligible physically challenged, old and poor tribal people in the state thereby ensuring their welfare.

  • Transporters of the vehicles will be the village residents belonging to ST category in the age group of 21-45 years.
  • Transporters will get a fixed amount of income to every month for this work.
  • For purchase of transport vehicle, the resident will also get a margin money on the loan amount.
  • For providing margin money the Tribal Affairs Department will release about Rs. 9.69 crores.
  • This scheme will benefit about 7511 trial families in the 74 tribal development blocks of 16 districts in the state.
