The Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship is launched by Jindal foundation formerly known as S.J. Jindal Trust, was established in 1969 with a sole objective of serving the underprivileged and poor in various sections of society in different fields including education. The main objective behind introducing this scheme is to support poor students of society support them to pursue a good education. This scholarship scheme is open to all Indian national students and for all required courses it is provided. Under this scheme selected candidate will be provided financial help amount of Rs. 500 to Rs. 5,000. For getting eligible under this scheme candidate need to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below in article
Benefits of Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship:
- Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship provides benefits in the form of financial assistance. Rates of financial assistance are mentioned below as per respective courses
- For Student of class 11-12: 500 per month
- For ITI Students: ITI Rs. 500 per month
- For Pursuing Graduation or Post Graduation Course: General Girls-Rs. 800 per month, General Boys Rs. 600 per month, Physically Challenged Rs. 800 per month, Widows and unmarried wards of ex-servicemen-Rs. 1000 per month Note: For post-graduation courses candidates will get Rs. 200 per month
- For Diploma Courses (Including Mech., Chemical, Environment, Nursing, Pharmacy & Physiotherapy): Girls Rs. 1000 per month, Boys Rs. 800 per month
- For Pursuing Graduation or Post Graduation in Medical Or Engineering: G. Course Girls Rs. 1500 per month, U.G. Course Boys Rs. 1300 per month, P.G. Course Girls Rs. 2000 per month, P.G. Course Boys Rs. 1800 per month
- Extra Scholarship Amount for Hostellers
- For ITI Graduate/Post Graduate Courses Rs. 5000 per month
- For Medical and Engineering Courses Rs. 1000 per month
Required eligibility and conditions for applying for Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship:
- For Student of class 11-12: Boys 60%, Girls 50% in previous examination, No income criteria
- For ITI Students: Boys 50%, Girls 40% in previous examination, No income criteria
- For Pursuing Graduation or Post Graduation Course: Boys 65%, Girls 55% in the previous examination, Annual Income should not be more than Rs. 4 lakh
- For Diploma Courses (Including Mech., Chemical, Environment, Nursing, Pharmacy & Physiotherapy): Boys 65%, Girls 55% in the previous examination, Annual Income should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh
- For Pursuing Graduation or Post Graduation in Medical Or Engineering: Boys 72%, Girls 65% in the previous examination, Annual Income should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh
Document required for applying for Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship:
- Photocopy of 10th/12th
- Photocopy of the mark sheet of the last exam passed
- Photocopy of income certificate
- Bonafide certificate
- Passport size photo
- Residence proof
- Photocopy of merit certificate is to be enclosed as per Annexure-VII ( in case of Engg, Medical, Diploma & MBA students )
- For Physically challenged certificate from a competent authority
- For widows and Ex-servicemen PPO, Ex-servicemen widow I-Card, Relationship dependency certificate
- Note: Other documents may be required which are mentioned in application form
