Vishesh Mahila Uthaan Yojana launched by Women and Child Development Department Government of Himachal Pradesh. This scheme is specially launched for rehabilitation of physically and sexually abused women through technical and vocational training. The objective of the scheme is to train & rehabilitate women in moral danger. Under this scheme beneficiary, women are provided vocational training, monthly stipend, financial loan to be self-employed at 4% rate of interest and subsidy of Rs. 10,000. Women residents of Himachal Pradesh and victim of rape can apply to the scheme. More information and application form can be obtained at Anganwadi canter and women and child development department.

Benefits of Vishesh Mahila Uthaan Yojana:

• A scheme provides benefits in the form of financial assistance and vocational/ technical training to the eligible women
• Under this scheme stipend of Rs. 3000 per month per trainee is provided during training period
• Vocational and technical training is provided to rehabilitate victim women
• Under this scheme financial loan is provided to be self-employed to the eligible women at 4% interest rate with subsidy of Rs. 10,000

1. Women residents of Himachal Pradesh
2. A young girl who is a victim of rape
3. Physically and sexually abused women
4. Women sex workers identified and sponsored by state and AIDS control society

2. Bank passbook copy
3. Identity proof
4. Resident proof
5. Aadhar card
